呈现为一片活动的，永久笼罩雨雾的沼泽，并永远处于阴天傍晚。与其他地形自然接壤。祂的头部是一块黑色的平面，条带状的缠绕物穿过颈部的另一块发光放射状平面向下伸展并绕过肩部。背部披着呈触须状编织交叠的结构，它们看上去通常更光滑，总是显出流动状，接触地面形成沼地。从背面看，祂看上去像是一只披着厚重斗篷的鸟状物。体表带有荧光，在祂的附近可以通讯，但指示方向的设备以及对方向的感知都会失效，在祂自己的示意下，观测者可能能够安全离开祂所形成和接触的区域。
