台湾黑熊（学名：Ursus thibetanus formosanus）是亚洲黑熊的台湾特有亚种，体型粗壮，头圆颈短，眼小吻长，臀圆尾短。体重约50～200千克，体长120～180厘米。黑熊全身被以粗糙但极富光泽的黑色毛发，颈部附近的毛特别长，可超过10厘米，下颏前端白色，而最大的特征便是胸前的黄白色V字形或新月形斑纹。
